!!Black Housed Headlights emergancy!!

Alright i made some black housed headlights and everything went as planned they look amazing and like they should the only problem is when i took off the tape where i taped off the signal area some of that chrome paint came with it and i need to know if i can buy a can of that stuff or if there is something else i can use to blend it in the one headlight there is just a lil patch but the other is pretty big. If someone notices it they are looking to close but the thing is, is that i know it's there and it bugs me

help me out if you can

lata

i dont know 100%, but im almost positive if you take a look at home improvement stores in your area you can find some kind of chrome touch up paint to cover up that imperfection...... i doubt the finished product will be as good as it was from the factory, but it will cover up the area where some of the paint got removed....

look for metallic silver, or those "metals" spray paints

good luck

I know that the chrome spray paint at canadian tire sucks *** on plastic. Don't know why but it doesn't even reflect like chrome is supposed to. So there's a chance that it will even look worse when u paint it. But then again you might get lucky and it will look close to the original. I'd try it on a spare piece of plastic first.

I tried the same chrome paint and it looked like ****. I tried to remove some black paint that oversprayed onto the chrome and some of it came off.

Don't bother... no chrome paint will match it... if you REALLY must, you can try chroma-vision at Cross Canada. But IMO, if you want it gone, call some body shops and see if they'll give you a broken headlight off a 99-00 civic. They toss those out all the time.
