I only bought 17s for my 5th gen because 17" was the smallest size.

Are you sure that 5th gens use a 45 series with a 16" rim?

Here's the specs:

Tires:
P185/60R-14 82H (EX Coupe, Si)
P175/65R-14 (EX Sedan)
P175/70R-13 (DX)
P165/70R-13 (VX, CX)

Now cross reference the stock tire height with the desired rim/tire combo to find the best match using this chart.

Look like 205/40/16 is the best match for your 5th gen DX.

205/40/16 is what im running, 16's are nice and comfortable and they look great aswell, thats my choice

get some 15", run 205/50/15 ..get some nice tires..ur set!

17's is just for show..the ride quality SUCKS...and slows down your car alot.
