antenna cover

if i were to get one of those black antenna covers that takes the place of the antenna to give it that "euro" look, will that screw up my radio reception?

or is it easy to install this

antenna caps can be had from the dealer and you will lose almost all of your reception, just like havin a shaved antenna (which I have) I only get local stations and they are fuzzy in some locations...installation of the S2k one would require some drilling and re-routing the wire but thats pretty simple...IMO, waste of time...if u wanna get rid of the antenna, shave it and get a inner window antenna

Get and internal antenna that just connects to the back of the radio. Its just a little wire that connects to the antenna port. Then use the OEM Honda antenna cap to close to antenna hole. I have this setup and the reception works really good no problems.

LOL @ bbarbulo

if you are going to go with the VW/Audi style antenna you can it from FRISCO VW for around 50 bux... it's great for reception, i've had that same antenna on 3 cars of my previous cars.
