99 Factory Tail Lights on a 98 (Coupe Si)
Does anyone know if the rear tail lights on a 1999 or 2000 Civic 2 door coupe will fit on a 98 coupe, and if the wiring harnesses are the same.
I prefer the 99 or 2000 because they are read and white. mine are red white and orange. Or if anyone is selling them here let me know how much you want to sell them for? pm me or email louismorrone@hotmail.com

yes and yes.....
i painted mine cuz everyone else wants an arm and a leg for theirs, i painted the orange red, so they're all red tails except for the reverse lights, and i like the uniqueness of it...

yeah, exactly my point. OEM or not, it's not being put to any use.... for a hunk of plastic i'd rather paint, than spend $200...... that's almost a pair of altezzas, you can get those cf ones too lol... i wonder how much they are from honda i'm sure they're around there but you know they're brand new as opposed to used! lol
i still think the wreckers is the best idea, i don't have money coming out of my *** unfortunatley! lol

I don't think you can clear them... it's not a amber insert or anything, the plastic is coloured amber when it's still liquid and injected into the mold.... good luck, but i think you'll just be wasting alot of time...

i opened one up successfully, come morning, i'll soak them in thinner or bleach and give it a good rub with a piece of cloth to see if i can get rid of the amber....
i remember my brother doing this to his jeep wrangler for his tail lights.
even if it isnt a success, no one was buying em off me, might as well experiment
