99 civic cluster lights

hey guys

so currently im emailing the support for superbrightleds.com

i checked the DIY's here but there was one for a 98 civic i just wanted to know a couple things

for the 99 civic 5 speed cluster do they take the same bulbs as the 98? (2#74 and 2#194)
also the people at superbrightleds.com told me they sell #74 twist lock but to buy the 194 bulb and twist lock attachment sepperately so i wanted to know if i could you #74 instead of #194 bulbs (basically use #74 for everything) i know #74 bulbs are just half the length of #194 but how about the width?

They work great , all i had to do is take out the old bulbs and put in the new is and bang it worked fine... They are 10 bucks for two bulbs.. toofastmotors , check our vendor site..

They are pretty much the same as the stock bulbs so you just take the stock ones out and put in the new ones..

They look ok , what i ve done lately is put on a reverse glow gauge ..they look like this one

and you can change green to blue ( above is only green)... You could also dimmer the lights if you find them too bright... I pay 42 $ including the shippings cost and its pretty easy to install ..

So it is really up to you , you will need at least 6 bulbs from toofast motors (maybe more) so around 30 -40 bucks or you can just buy the cover which will light blue or green plus a white face plate for 40 $... And yes , you can install it yourself

I think this is the site, not sure but google is your friend... A1 Electronic Parts in Mississauga| YYZtech.ca: Toronto computer dealers, internet cafes, reviews.

Had the LEDs in my cluster... after a short while they started to burn out... this was after the LED install after a 1 or two burnt out.

Said forget it! I had an LED strip light laying around so I hard wired it to the cluster and this is the light output afterward.

Yea I actually wanted the reverse glow, but I couldnt justify the $40 US at the time so I went with that. Hey, if/when these ones blow, i think I'll bite the bullet and get the reverse glow. Hard to find KM's though
