DIY Instrument Panel LED Light Change

As per a few previous posts on light changing ive finally had time to do a diy on it with photos, get the bulbs from superbright leds. #74s or t1.5 for 92-95 civics. other models and years have a variety of different sizes im not sure of. The easiest way is to just order them online from super bright leds, they come with the socket and the led bulb for like 1$ a bulb, ordering online may seem annoying but it is sometimes your best bet, like in this case ive looked and found none at this comparable price and type. your gonan find crappy leds with crappy luminescence or for $10 a bulb.
Superbright has a minimum order of like $25 so just order some with a friend
you will need about 7 or so bulbs but get a few extra or a different color to see what you like. again the leds are not diffused to you will have areas lighter and some areas darker but to be honest it aint that bad

T1.5 Instrument LED bulb
1-LED Instrument Cluster and Gauge illumination bulb. #74 LED bulb installed in twist-lock socket base Available with White,Blue,Green,Red and Amber Wide Angle LED
$ 1.79 from

B8.5D-x Instrument Cluster LED bulb - This is a little bit brighter then the 1.5, but cheaper and the website say that is is smaller but upon changing them for these they ended up being brighter. I believe so bc they are shorter which allows the light to distribute wider instead of the t1.5 being longer and hitting the bakc of the cluster instead of the wider beam emitting on the white gauge of the cluster which is translucent.
1-LED Instrument Cluster and Gauge illumination bulb. #74 LED bulb installed in B8.5D twist-lock socket base
Smaller version of T1.5 seen above
Select LED Color
$ 1.59

FESTOON DOME LIGHT CHANGE
3022-WHP2 Festoon bulb
30mm (1.2 inch long) 12 VDC Festoon Base Bulb with 2 High Power Cool White LEDs $ 6.95 , they can be easily changed by removing the plastic cover with ur hands, u may need nails or a screw driver to slip into the notch to open it, and then swapping the bulb by hand. there are festoon bulbs that are longer in length with mor high beam leds but they cost an additional $7, you may want to measure the 2 metal prong connectors in the dome light before ordering the bigger festoon bulbs.

Green, Blue red and white are very vibrant

Heres an 95 integra light conversion diy

unscrew the 2 top screws on the upper trim. slip ur hand or finger on the bottom trim and push or pull up, this will release the clipping mechanism and u can pull up and rotate out and upwards to release the trim

the rubber guard is just above the steering wheel, stick ur fingers in btw the plastic trim and the car dash

remove the 4 screws on each side

this is the light bulb the size of a pinky tip depending on how fat ur fingers are. there are 3 # 194 bulbs in a 95 integra, 1 for each round gauge. and the rest which you dont need to change bc they use transluscent color faces(signals, highbeam etc. all using white bulbs)

here is the back of the cluster, notice the 3 big #194 sockets

Great DIY !

After you converted to LEDs, does the cluster light up evenly? i mean are any "hot spots" visible where its more lid up then other places?

Also, is there a separate bulb for the needles? So that you can change the color of the needles only?
