Well I wouldn't say any car is bad you get what you can, but to compare a Civic to a V8 is a bit much, it was almost like he couldn't find anything in the same range to bash the civic with. Comparing a Civic to a 98 Mustang or Firebird is a bit much too, the suck up a lot of gas. I like my Civic not because it is a Civic but because it is good on gas, I don't care too much for hp.


I also know that a V8 would smoke me, there are a lot of cars that would smoke me I don't care.

there are a lot of stupid ignorant people out there that think honda is some sort of god (there are lots of them are on this forum), this is just some guy who is angry at the world because he has encounted one too many of those honda-loving idiots.

Yes, its true that honda makes well built well engineered cars, but they are by no means as great as some people think they are.

american cars arent as reliable as japanese... not true, the big three had many problems when they tried to cut corners back in the mid 90's and have learned their lesson (the hard way). there are many american cars that are just as reliable aswell as more reliable than japanese cars

american cars are big gas guzzlers... not true, it all depends on the car, the engine, the type of engine, blah blah blah. there are way too many factors to look at.

HP/L actually means something... it doesnt mean ****. smaller displacement engines are generally going to produce more power per displacement. look at the ls7 engine in the corvette. its a 6.0L engine, making 400hp, weighs less than a honda V6, and its fuel economy is excellent, comparable to the accord / TL. but makes more power and weighs less.

those are just a few misconceptions lots of idiots have, there are lots of them out there.
