I've provided support for MAC systems in the past and have used a wide range of their products.

I'm surprised you don't use a Mac (not MAC, that implies a MAC address, cough system administrator)...I would think as a system admin being able to run all 3 major workstation/consumer OSs on one machine would be invaluable for testing and troubleshooting....

(I have a feeling this is going to be my "work entertainment" thread, hahaha)

ofcourse you can control it...

but having to run virus programs and spyware programs is a hassle, and consumes resources...(and costs money, maybe)...

2-3x?? maybe back in 1998...

you are looking at a 100 premium usually over a comparable Dell PC (not comparing Acer which is garbage quality)...again, comparable specs...also, I believe in the "power workstation" the Mac Pro ends up a little cheaper then the comparable Dell...

plus you are getting more software...

ya this is getting kind of boring...someone come up with a new topic to debate..haha

I have about 6 or 7 servers in my lab dedicated to running VMWARE only and each has about 10-12 VMWARE sessions running on it. I can run whatever I want at the same time, but why would I want one of those sessions to be OSX?

muhahah
