its not a new thing just more publicized now. there were 3 separate shootings, 4 stabbings and one guy attacked with a garden spade. and thats just what came into 1 hospital last night in the eastern end.....if you knew more of what happens in the city youd be very surprised

if you walk in the rain, you are bound to get wet.

rarely is the victim "innocent"

From my understand (paper, news, etc.) most of the shootings are gang related.

it is very rare for someone to be gunned down and be innocent.

if you believe all those mothers on tv crying how their "innocent little boy who never crossed anyones path, good natured, intelligent, well to do, etc" got gunned down, then you are very naive. innocent my ***, he got killed becasue he deserved it one way or another.

I guess none of you have ever had a gun or knife held up your face or stomach while walking home from school.

as long as the violence is geared between gangs and whatever, that's fine. I could care less... i'd like to see toronto death squards running around in black uniforms with skull masks murdering everyone with an illegal firearm.

I lost a friend to the recent spree of gun violence on sunday, and sure maybe he wasn't completely innocent but he didn't deserve to go out the way he did. RIP

ya, i'm sure the 4 year old that caught lead was guilty too..
or the guy that just went back for his smokes...bad, bad smoker

guilty of sitting around in a park, exercising one's freedoms (or what use to be freedoms anyway)..
you guys are basically saying you're automatically guilty if you venture past your own front door..
hope no one you know gets caught up in this shyt..

well there are warnings on cigarettes that say they can kill you......although ive never seen the pack with the gang banger with the gun on it. just an fyi out of all the shooting victims ive seen come into my hospital 2 have been white. and they both shot themselves. one on purpose one by accident. only one has been female and only one has been over the age of 30 (take into account it was a 50 year old white female who shot herself on purpose) sure not all victims are gang bangers and innocent bystanders do get hurt, but they usually are and thats fine with me. you play with fire your gonna get burned. personally i think we should teach them how to shoot and there would be far less time and $$$$ wasted on emergency services.

i think everyone should legally be required to carry a gun... with a ticket if you don't have a loaded one on you in public....

you don't hear about too many people jacking a gun store in texas for that reason....

There is a long story that I have.
Not going to say it all here.

It's related to some **** my cousin got in.
Anways some people he dealt with.

Don't know if they were in a gang.
Went to a guys house to kill him.
Knocked on the door.
Guy opened it.
Shot him in the face.

Turns out the guy they wanted to kill.
Was away for the day.
The guy that answered the door.
Was his roommate.

Who knew nothing about what his friend was into.

You think he deserved to die?

Anyone on here saying people deserve to get shot and killed.
Are extremely stupid.
I don't care how 'guilty' the person is.

arguing special cases in a general discussion is pretty much pointless. Sure there are special, one-of cases when a stray bullet goes through a wall, or an innocent person happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But dont tell me its totally innocent when a very very signigicant portion of gun related murders happens to be connected to young black males decked out in their gangsta gear.
