Great game for us. It was amazing. Nuno Gomes with the sick goal. Everyone said we wouldnt even make the playoffs of our own tournie. Look at us now. Everyone says its luck, no it aint. We have great players on that team. I was on college street watching teh game, when we won oh man it was crazy.

it was a great game and portugal does have a good team, but pauletta, rui costa, and figo have done nothing, (and wears gomes on the list!!), if there gonna win they need these guys to contribute

 

i agree that pauleta hasn't been playing well at all, but Figo played very well in the last 2 games. as for rui costa, well he did score a goal though it was Ronaldo's doing. rui's like too scared to move forward with the ball, everytime he gets it he either runs backwards with it or passes it back, no wonder he hasn't score for ac milan, its like hes scared progress.

 

Rui Costa scored a decent goal against Russia but yeah he hasnt been doing much. Pauletta out next match anyways because of the 2 yellows. Thats ok though because they will give the start to Ronaldo. That kid is awesome. He is very good at moving the ball.

I knew i was forgetting someone. LOL.. Nuno Gomes, also very killer player, i love that guy so much. He scored the winning goal against England. Maybe he will do it again on the 24th. We will just have to see. And come on, we do have a good shot, back to that guy saying do we really think we do. We dont have a bad football team at all. Everyone bashes us pork chops. ya your right, 3 world cups (a world cup final and a euro final in the last decade), not to mention my fovourite team won serie a last year and made it to the champions league final (oh and it was an all italy final as well), dman i wish i was portugese

Also FC Porto won the champions League this year and there were no italian teams to be found. Dont worry though Im still rooting for them to get to the quaters. I have many italian friends and wish the team well.

Looks dusty for the the italians. Bulgari is up 1 nothing and it is half time. Well maybe they come back, it would be nice. Now this is great, all different races, and yet no one is bitching. FUnny thing, eeryone makes fun of me saying im a chop, and yet they are croatian. Not anything wrong with croatians, but they say they are better in soccer, when us chops are in the qrts. ANyways where im going with is, all you guys know the teams, and the players which is great, ur not going on race, but more players and that is how it should be.

P.S. any Croatian fan that thought they had a chance is lost. My heart is behind them but I know they are young and dont have enough experience together. They need time to grow. Qualifying was a success for them at this stage. And Italy coulda just had a penalty...i dunno the guy went down but it didnt look like the bulgarian dude hit him hard really.

 

I just found out that the Italians won but unfortunately they are out of the tournament because Denmark and Sweden tied 2-2. Denmark and Sweden had more goals forward. Its too bad I was rooting for them to go through too.
