I played poker too tonight with my friends. I only got to play one game, cause I didn't finish work till midnight. I won $50 dollars. I most likely would have won the first game too if I didn't have to work. I could have won $100 dollars... damn work.

Poker is a fun game. I learned how to play poker by playing casino games on the good ole NES.

actually its absolutely legal, you are allowed to run home games by law as long as you dont charge people for playing, as in a rake, and who takes rake from their friends??

poker is an awsome game... but sometime not when u loose 40bones> like last nite for me> but im playin friday and hope to win all that back plus interest>

the trick to being a good poker player is to think a couple steps ahead of ur opponent. like u know that i have this, but i know u have this, but do u know that i know that u know that i have this> lol if that makes sence.

technically you are charging your friends to play.
because if that wasnt the case the money wouldn't be in involved in this game correct? or am i wrong here?

^ You are wrong a rake goes to the house or dealer as a fee for playing. Putting 20 in a pot is not a fee for playing, it's to get into the pot as an oppurtunity to win. If it was a fee he would have no chance getting it back.

BTW I play poker too and just got one of these for my bday

I got my set. Its 1000 chips. I love it.

Yah I play all the time. Placed 5th in a tourny couple weekends ago outta 50 ppl, and couple weeks before that I placed 1st outta 60 ppl. That was a nice cash prize I must say with a $50 buy-in.

I dunno I got it for my bday, but I know you can buy them from costco, I'm assuming they're between 100-150? I really have no clue though.
