Where can I rent a manual car?

Hi guys. Does anyone know where i can rent a manual car for fairly cheap? Nothing like a luxury car, i need something like an economy or mid-size.
I called most major rental places, but they all said that they only have auto's.
Thanks for any help.

chances are you wont find any.
98 percent of the people out there only know how to drive an auto.

if ya really got no one to teach you and you can't find one, get a mazda with the techtronic shifting. the mazda 3 i rented in the summer had it and it was alot of fun driving. the techtronic thing is kinda like a manual, cuz you can control what gear you're on, but you don't clutch

if you are looking to learn and you don't have a buddy to teach you, why not try some driving schools, i'm sure they would have some standard cars to teach their students.

Thats the problem im having. I dont really want to ask anyone because, if the situation were reversed, I wouldnt teach anyone on my car.
I got lucky because a friend taught me a bit today. I wasn't doing too great, especially since i wasnt used to his car, so i felt realy bad.

i drive auto and learned to drive stick from a friend

i know lots of people are really tight about their cars, but im sure there are also people willing to teach others, especially for some cash.

cuz like a couple hours is all anyone will really need at most, and after that its mainly practise.
