What'e everyone use for TV/entertainment?
I've been thinking about consolidating my internet and TV provider... currently use Bell DSL and Cogeco Digital Select All. Total price is about $115 give or take/month. I figure I can get better programming/cheaper price if I change something around... either get Cogeco Cable internet, or switch to Bell ExpressVu. Either way, I can switch either provider or both if it comes to that. I am willing to lose the cost of current equipment that I've purchased, so that's not a factor. In fact, I was pretty pissed that my digital reciever didn't come with digital audio output... WTF is that?? why would they even make such a thing?
So choices are:
Cogeco HDTV tuner ($750 OUCH!!)
Bell 6120 HDTV ($399 )
Starchoice HDTV ($599)
I'm liking Bell's option... their package prices are pretty decent, for about $75 I could get all I want plus HDTV channels too. The other option is to get a regular reciever and buy a HDTV antenna and tuner card for my computer. This would cut my monthly service billing to about $60/month which is not bad.
So what do you have at home, how much do you pay for it... what would be the ultimate sol'n for your home entertainment needs? Any other thoughts?

the 6120 is non-hackable.... hacking is not being taken into consideration at this point. I'm merely asking what TV provider ppl are using? Cable or Satellite or else?? digital or regular, HDTV or ???

I've got Bell for internet - I'm lucky I don't pay for my cable b/c the dude downstairs ordered it and we're running a line through his connection (w/ permission).
Bruno - go with the Bell pkg. Sympatico has pretty good connection - I had Rogers before and came across alot of problems-maybe just for my area but problems nonetheless.

Basic cable lol, but since I bought an HDTV ready TV Im buying an OTA HDTV box to get signals, if I were you Bruno I'd get one for sure. You're really close to american towers down in windsor you should be able to pick up a bunch of signals.
In my area I should be able to get some major US stations (PBS, CBS, ABC, NBC, WUTV) plus 2 Toronto stations (City Tv, Toronto1). For the cost of a receiver and an antenna (buying used for 225cdn locally) you get some good High Def channels.
If you actually go to Best Buy in the states you should be able to get a zenith ATSC only HDTV box for like 99US and pick up a radioshack indoor antenna for 50 bucks cdn, great deal for High Def.
That's my stance on it, until I can afford something better, this solution is the best bang for the buck, follow Cynikal's idea and you got a decent TV watching set up.
Here's a pic of the system in my bedroom, picked it up a couple weeks ago, Panasonic 47x54, Pioneer DV-578A DVD player, Logitech z680 speaker set. Once I get my HDTV STB (Samsung SIR-T151) I'm set.
