you were at a rec center and as you were leaving someone you know.. not really well.. but somewhat alright.. sits on your hood.. and you said get off.t hey didn't and you started driving.. and like 15 feet away they fell off and cut himself.. no broken bones or n e thing.. and tehy went to the cops?

first of all i woulda beet his *** for sitting on my hood, but as for driving away, guess it could technically be assault, but what i would do is if you know for sure he went to the cops. go yourself and lay and information against him so u habe something in wirtting and a bargaining tool if it goes somewhere

I see no reason why you would be. You asked the individual to remove himself from the vehicle. The person ignored your warning...you drove off...he got hurt. It's his own fault.

I would get so pissed if some sat on my hood. A car is not a bench. If you want to sit down, there are plenty of seats inside a car.

I'm going to have disagree with everyone here.

The law is not what you think is common sense. You are not allowed to 'assault' anyone regardless of the circumstances.

Reasonable self defence is different.

If I break into your house and sit on your kitchen table and not do anything, you cannot attack, nor can you poke me until I leave. If you leave a bruise, I can call the cops on you.

It's even stupid to the point where if I break into your house to rob or kill you and I slip on a skateboard, fall down the stairs, I can sue you.

I'm not fxcking here. Legally, I would not talk to anyone of your friends, nor with the police until everything is sorted out. Other than that, just wish the other guy death and ignore him.
