What A Little Bit Of Elbow Grease Does....

I picked up a set of steelies and tires a couple of days ago but thats not the point....for the past 2 days, I've been working on the one tires/wheels trying to restore itto new. Well what do you guys think? Can you guys tell I'm bored to the point I'm making this thread?

Looks good, but those tires really wont handle that great in the winter. There really is no substitute for a true winter tire.

Yeah I know, thats why I'm looking at winter tires right now. If I don't buy winter tires and these are no good...I'll use my dads Tacoma.

BTW, should I rock these for darknights?

Predators are the worst tire know to man.. The funniest part is they have a "high" speed rating.

I rock predators, just wish mine had the white lettering...and they arent that bad at all...I drove em all year round and through the hellacious winter we had and only got stuck once by my own stupidity...now I know they come with white lettered sidewalls I might get me another set...SICK!

The paint won't look that good for long...especially not if it was painted while already mounted. It will probably start peeling from the edges.

Wow looks amazing.. what kind of paint did you use on the Steelies? Looks like you did a good deal of sanding, I hope the finish lasts the winter!

I think my car is comparable to the first pics of the old steelie and if you can do that to it i'm positive you can make my car look better than it does, Im going to come up soon Tego.

I painted my old 5 star winters last year, one coat of spraybomb and they stayed good throughout the winter.

You have too much time on your hands to be painting steelies... why not bang the wife instead?
