How much do those things run for anyway?

as cheap as $18 for the knock-off's.......up to $89 for a big kit(ie...extra tires, bodies, pylons....ext....)

average price (real "Tomy" ones) around $35-$40.

They even have motorcycles......tried them yesterday at Pac Mall......they are only good for very smooooth surfaces. (the motorcycles, that is.)
