Up in Smoke Cafe - Hamilton Ontario

First of all, I would like to mention that I am not an advocate for Marijuana use, nor do I use marijuana myself. I am indifferent to the whole issue.

This may have been posted before, but I have not been able to find it in a search. Anyone who is from Hamilton Ontario will know about the cafe in the downtown. I have never been able to comprehend how this cafe continues to exist. Essentially you can enter this cafe and smoke marijuana, and though it is prohbited, police really cannot charge anyone if they do not catch anyone in the act of smoking marijuana.

I want to know, does anything like this exist in Toronto?

Does anyone know any more about the the Chris Goodwin (cafe owner) situation, which is always talked about in the news?

Way to go Hamilton, Ontario! Let's show everyone how unsophisticated we are!

It's illegal to burn, the location has nothing to do with illegality. It's just like a bunch of people in a house getting blazed and then the owner of the house getting charged.
