you can never count anyone out...but if they do fight...99% chance mirko will win by TKO.

I wanna see Mirko man handle Couture and not even let him take him down.

Kinda like what he did against Coleman.

i love how technical and controlled crocop is... but you shouldn't count out randy.... he'll go toe-to-toe with a striker.. and he's got a lot of grappling skill...

crocop is one of the few k1 guys to be able to make the transition to mma... but don't forget he's more or less a striker.

I'm just joking man. Of course I wouldn't count him out. And yes, cro cop is a striker before anything else. But, he's also as strong as a horse and has some of the best (if not THE best) take down defense skills in the game.

If Fedor couldn't do anything to him on the ground then I'm not too worried about Couture doing anything on the ground either.

I wouldnt say 99.9% chance..
look at what Randleman did in their first fight.. but im sure that was a "lucky punch".. heh.. anything can happen though..

and yes the next time they faught Mirko subbed him in 40 seconds.. but the point is anything is possible.

but he has no takedown offense...

crocop is a master of kickboxing..
but couture is a jack of all trades..

.......

what's your point?

Why would CC want to take the fight to the ground to begin with?

#1 if you think it's going to be easy for couture to take him down you're dreaming

#2 if you think it's going to be a walk in the park for couture if he does get it to the ground you're dreaming again

#3 Couture CANNOT stand toe to toe with cro cop. He's the best damn striker in the world. Couture's only strategy will be TAKEDOWN ASAP.

#4 This isn't Cro Cop from 2001. This is 2007. As I already said, FEDOR didn't do **** to cro cop on the ground and Fedor > Couture ANY DAY.

P.S.

Do you remember why Couture dropped out of Heavyweight to begin with?

And UFC hasn't even seen a real HW fighter until the arrival of CC.

that is very true.. I was actually kind of hoping Sylvia would win so that if/when he fights mirko, mirko could kick the crap out of him..

Couture got STOMPED by Barnett. That was a while ago too. Barnett is much better now, and Couture is much older.

I don't think he stands a chance against Mirko.
