Well, not very practical, but its a respectful project.
I saw another TT Civic in Some British Import magazine. They had done a good, clean job as well. I think theirs was a H22 though...

I don't think this car could be driveable at all. Its just too much...
Odd weight distribution, tiny traction, reliability...?!!!

Still a good job. Fitting all that Sh*t into a 90 Civic with a short hood, now thats some effort.

Thumbs UP!!!

:dito:

a twin turbo on a 1.6 liter engine just doesn't do anything the turbos would take forever to spool up

imported_civic_fan 29-Sep-2003 12:10 PM

thats where the nos system he installed would come in :)

the h22 barely fits in that think.

imported_Cablerat 29-Sep-2003 01:59 PM

team rukus.. single turbo will fit no prob.. i'm sure a lil bit of shifting will allow for a second..

imported_Gatsby 29-Sep-2003 02:39 PM

H22 TT project was done on a 5Gen hatch with no A/C

There is LOTS of room in a 5Gen hatch with no A/C

That thing was a daily drivin, with over 600 WHEEL horse power!
I'm gonna go and find the Magazine tonight and see if a can find more info....

Holy Smokes thats a cool setup

imported_Gatsby 29-Sep-2003 09:32 PM

Alright.
I looked up the magazine.

Its an Australian magazine, called ZOOM

This Civic is a 5Gen yellow hatch, with a TT H22A

This Civic is making 228 Kw of power ( Don't know how to convert it to Hp) and runs 12.8 Seconds 1/4 Mile with street tires.

It says that the Civic is driven EVERYDAY, is easy to drive and is very reliable!!

This guy used 2 TD04 Turbos, with 2, 2 runner Turbo manifolds!

Hmm what else.... oh yeah he did some good suspension mods to balance the car, and the weight of the H22 and the Turbo stuff. He put coilovers at 4 corners and Gas shocks.

Thats pretty much it.

How does that sound to everyone?
