not too sure if you'll get 10k for that thing, maybe 6k so you'll have to start saving up. I was supposed to buy a delsol before my civic and everyone including my family were calling me a queer so I decided not too, imagine if I actually bought it :fustrated and knocking people out
Plus I waited too long to buy it, I had a great deal on a 97 for quite cheap and I waited too long and it was gone. Oh well

Ya, someone poinited it out to me that the Sol looks like a rollerskate from some angles. Personally I find it kinda funny, but the car still kicks ***!
Besides its a 3rd Gen CRX, ofcoarse I'm gonna like it!

Insurnace on a Sol is cheap (atleast for me) compared to my CRX its only like $30 more for the Sol.

If you want to go DOHC sol then it ain't cheap, esp if it's a no rust '97. They go for 16K plus for a ride with about 100,000+Km on it.

Insurance varies as well from the S to the VTEC. I'm over 25 and have had a lic for over a decade with no accidents and it's still pretty costly. Power to weight ratio is high for that car.

Cheapest would be the 93 S (both on insurance and cost) most costly the '97 VTEC

I'd 1st see how much it would cost to fix it.
I mean is it just the bumper or is the frame messed too?

I thought only the CRX had no cup holder...?

no she said not her Sol in the sig... Diamond Bebe, fast cars were never meant to have cup holders cuz the coffee spills when cornering, braking, accelerating. BTW, I can't stand ppl who drink coffee and/or smoke in the car.

Its not only annoying...but hard to smoke with a standard tranny.
I did it a couple of times, but very rarely. I'm too paranoid of having the ashes fall inside the car.

before even looking at it... I can tell you a few things. If you DON'T have an extra $3-5000 lying around ON TOP OF THIS PURCHASE, don't do it. It will require a lot of work to get it into some decent shape, and likely the body work alone will cost you $2000... I assume at this point only classic Honda rot + the windshield frame rot that Sols are known for. On top of this, I can safely assume blown shocks, and of course you wanna lower it...dead tires (bald), and more than likely a clutch on it's way out, and CV joints looking for replacement. Ball joints too. Then of course you can't safety it w/o new brakes... Assuming then engine runs okay, you need a valve lash adjustment, timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses, possibly new battery, dist cap, wires, spark plugs, and dist rotor... oil change, tranny fluid change, fuel filter, and of course...that's assuming your exhaust is in okay shape. These few items will get this Del Sol back up and in tip-top shape....
