If you're on DSL, say hello to Bell's throttle shaping efforts.

We're having a rally on Parliament Hill on the 27th (unless it gets pushed back again) to rise awareness on the issue.

The whole 411 on the subject can seen here.

suppertorrents.org is always fast depending on seeders of course. Most times new movie releases take less then an hour to download (700mb).

A decent youtube video on the subject.

A Note to Google Users on Net Neutrality

Battle over 'net neutrality' arrives in Canada

Many of us in the industry chat over on dslreports and it's a hot topic
and my good bud Rocky and his at TekSavvy keep updates in their forum.

Trust me, it's a major issue.

interesting vid... i just don't see that becoming a reality though. the great thing about capitalism is that competition is always possible. if bell and rogers or whoever start bull**** then i'll just cancel my service and they can shove it up their ***. if enough people do that then a new better isp will come along soon

Not in Canada, we have the CRTC... capitalism doesn't apply to media/communications........ apparently...
