Oh and to add to that the system uses a new engine the 246 system that Namco just released. When playing this game you'll get an actual "Tuning Card" which lets you save your Tuned/Tricked out Car that you can keep and when you hit the arcades again just slide the card and load your saved games and rack-up points like a Memory Card and post them on the site like a contest and win tons of shizzzz.

as for the developers they re-coup costs with sell a few units then it's all profit ... alot better then 70 bucks a game and having to get a larger production run going....and havingt he possibility of having the game cracked and copied....

yup exactly what I was gonna say... and if the game is crap than they sell/throw away the board and add another game in the cabinets... why do you think there are Street Fighter games in Flintstone Cabinets? cuz it's cheaper.. and they don't have to mass produce so much... you can just order a pcb board from the company and click the coin-up option and start profiting from these things. They're always upgradable and you never need to buy a new cabinet. Look at Mortal Kombat Series, Street Figter Series, House Of The Dead, Daytona USA, Raiden, Bust-A-Move etc... some of those games are over 10yrs old and people are still pumping quarters into those things... and Jitz... LOL don't get me started with Jitz those things get more quarters in there then a T.D. Bank... specially from me .... but then again you can't cross it over to a console cuz they you lose the fun.... that's why people that have the money drop a Classic Made in Italy Fabi Table in there homes. Well hope that helps... arcades are a good business specially if you got the right location... *cough*Near Schools*cough*..... and open up a pizzaria. That's a little business advice if you want to get into that.

Then I wouldn't have to wait in line with a bunch of 8 year olds to play a car game. I would most likely be in like with twice as many adults
It would also help kids learn to drive manual at an early age, good stuff

ferrari 355 challenge has a clutch at playdium. hehe jitz is the future. screw arcade machine. jitz table costs like 1200 bucks, and it can probably make it back in a month. i have wasted so much on jitz it's not even funny.

A previous version of this game is out for PS2. I got it and played it for maybe 30 minutes in total. It's very similar to tokyo extreme racer. Only it sucks a lot more ***. Maybe the arcade version is better.

there was only 1 arcade within driving distance (under 1 hour) that had initial D.. they got rid of the machine.. so i can never play that game. They need to remake it for ps2 or pc or something so i can play it again. the psx initial d sucks if you cannot read japanese.. which i cannot.
