Dan, did honda get Enkei to make the rims to their specs? How do the rims compare to other brands out there. I know there not the best, just wondering how they stack up against some aftermarket and even some other OEM brands from diff manufacturers.

The 14" Honda optional equipment wheels I have on my Civic are Enkei manufactured wheels too. They're also incredibly expensive to replace if you go by Honda's prices.

My stock 15" rims on my civic are Enkei too. Enkei is a great brand for rims. They look nice and they aren't that heavy.

One of the lightest rims out there is made by Enkei. It is the Enkei RP02-J. It's a 5 spoke rim that has the spokes pretty damn thin.

I own Enkei 15" rims and Advanti Racing (ADR) 17" rims. The ADR rims are like brick weight in comparison. (Maybe cuz they're 17"...?)

Well - as for OEM I know that Enkei makes for a few car brands... that being said you can bet the rims are pretty decent.

Not true. Honda uses other manufacturer's wheels, although many aluminum Honda wheels are made by Enkei. Some steelies too. Not all though.
