spoon engines arent anything special.
they mostly use stock parts that they fine tune and then reinstall.
the block is still a b16b or a b18c

would it be more aggressive camshafts/cams? plus more aggressive intake manifold? that brings high revs like 12000rpm? with some fine tuning?

not sure... because GT never had its idling increased.... and GT1 never talk about LSD too? hahaha

they dont rev to 12000. its a game. the cams would have to be huge to make any power up there.

i agree.....if i'm not mistaken....the gauges are all the same for all the cars....kinda sucks.....but hey it's a game.....you want realism...i suggest Project Gotham

I remember in GT3, Spoon Civic after top modification would have red line of 14000rpm, with 300+ NA HP (BHP I would think). Engine should still remain B16B, though displacement would be increased.

Again, that's just a game, but I do think that GT make the game as realistic as possible, when it comes to modifications. Afterall, there are copyrights involved, they can't make Spoon Civic rev to 20,000 rpm when it can't be done in real life.

ahaha naw man my spoon civic in gt3 went to 18 000 rpm, no joke but yah the real spoon civic probably goes to 10 grand, its a b16b, so its not that hard to make those tings go to ten

just a quick note I found out...its not worth it to buy the motor since I check like 3 yrs ok...

Longblock only nothing else...so no dizzy, intake mani, tranny. etc..
Pricing as follows:
B16B = 5000 CDN
B18C = 7000 CDN

Motor is find tuned. Rev limiter is unknown cuz they are usually more mods done to it when bought.

Things/stuff that I think are worth buying from company are:

Gauge clusters
Angel ECU (maps for ecu being fine tune for track)
LSD and flywheel
Interior and exterior parts CF, etc...
Wheels..

Hope it helps a bit or little..

Spoon Civic is an actual car that made its way into the game, so the spec is valid. He was listing the parts that came from the Spoon Civic, not the Civic Type R.

It is a great engine is you love to track your car or endurance race it. You can red line your car to work daily and don't need to worry a thing.

I do not have a civic YET but i am saving for one. ive got 5grand...YEEEHAA i liked the sound of a 12 000rpm redline. hahahah that would be nuts to rip down main street and hit 12000rpm... ppl would be like...WHERE IS THE PLANE!.....again thanks for your help.....just a nother question.......say i took a normal engine D15B or something what kinds of mods would i have to do to increase the redline....or to put it better what would raise the redline.......im thinkin things like block types of pistons... am i right?

oh yeah no doubt....im not a total noob as it might look that way. i wouldnt want a spoon engine in my car. just because i wouldnt race it and also.....i wouldnt wanna see the price take of having spoon make you an engine. but again i think a nice 95 coupe SI would be great.

hahhaa, my ek hits 7200 daily... i would go higer, but it cuts then... chip time?

oh yeah, that soon civic... its likely... i saw an ek9 (type-r civic) with the b16b race stock against a stock s2000 and a suped up accord... it wont... it was revving at like 10,000 or so... and the clock went up that high too... so, with some light mods to the engine i bet it could be achieved... why not? damn, that would be sweet too

Michael, do you have that video? I want to have it again.

But IIRC, it was a 2 liter Honda challange and that CTR had B20 in it.
