Already done - 7 days right now, and potentially much longer later.

propaganda my friend. there was no damage done this time with this moron, but makes people think the situation is worse by showing to destroyed cars.

some speeding i can understand... but 2.5x the speed limit... that's impressively stupid!

well a lot of G35 drivers are douchbags, i'm not surprised - everyone who had modded civics 5-10 years ago has grown up (but not matured) and stepped into g35s or 3 series BMWs. in 2-3 more years it might be feasible for me to bring my civic out of hiding and actually drive it again.

jail time for non-violent crime is nothing but a drain on the system.

community service and fines are better.

Indeed. Costs us tax payers to accommodate jail time.

I wonder how the cops caught the guy, because I seriously doubt the cruisers are capable of going that fast.

Read the article, they caught the guy 600 feet away, so they were probably in front by 600 feet, clocked him, and pulled out with lights on.

An average of 22 people are charged each day, almost one every hour."
How reckless. Showing such a lack of concern about the consequences--the endangerment individually and the risk to the innocent.
