soft tops in winter?

anyone has experience w/driving cars with soft tops in the winter? i'm looking into buying a car that has one, possible driving it in the winter, but not sure how that would stand.

IMo its not worth having a drop top in canada.... youll drop it maybe 20% of the time you drive ever.. not worth it.. plus gives you headaches

Works so far. We have a Mini Cooper Convertable. Drove it over the winter.

Try to park it inside the garage at night, avoid heavy snow built up.

i don't have one, but i know they are insolated and built better than older one's if it is in good shape should be fine

One of the senior members on ClubSi has an S2000 that he drives all year long. I bought some parts from him last winter and I almost died when he pulled up in the car. Snow tires and a hard top I believe.
