Small question..

When buying spark plugs for a car, do you have to get a specific kind for your car? I might be taking an Automatic civic on someone, and he says the car won't starrt because it has no Intake and Spark Plugs, both of which were stolen.. BOO!

Please help
Sorta newbie here, still learning

Hmm, I was just told that Spark Plugs only pass electricity through the plug, and that you dont need to by a specific kind for any car??

A 1991 Si should be worth hella money if it's in decent shape. If you are paying less that $2500, I'd be worried.

I recommend going for a sedan of some sort - most of them are automatic, and there are so many of them... and they are way cheaper cuz riceboys don't pay thousands more than they are worth.

Well, he said he was using the car as a beater this winter. I'm gonna go with my freind Mike, check it out, test drive it and see whats up. If i feel at all worried i'll back out as soon as possible. I just wanna give this guy a chance to prove his car is worth my money, though i highly doubt it is.

I'll keep ya updated!! Thanks for the tips bro!

trade him a 2L bottle of Coke for the car.... tow it home and keep it for parts LOL

I pray to GOD your buddy there Mike knows his **** else you'll get scammed large. I'm betting if you look under the floor, the car will have no rocker panels - hence will not be eligible for a safety. Don't forget, these days it's not enough that the car drives... it has to pass safety and emissions. With your budget, maybe look elsewhere... like Chevy or Ford or something. Good Hondas are expensive! Or budget a little extra money and buy a car that's safetied and emissions tested.
