i always thought vw was in general a good and reliable car especially the older 80s and early 90s models, built like tanks, however one thing i had noticed when the newest models came out was the large amount of vw hatchbacks with taillight bulbs burnt out(used cheap bulbs). I still think this is an isolated incident, they can't be that bad.

i dont believe in this, vw doesnt have that many problems thats bunch of bullshit that was made up, i know lots of my friends that have vw's and no problems eventhough they abuse them too, the only thing that happend to one of my friends is that his tranny was gone cuz he was rip it too much that all othervide he had no problems, plus i know a guy that has a 2001 vr6 jetta and he had no problems.
