Sisley Honda sucks
I took my mom's '05 Civic in for its first oil change while she's on vacation, and I took it to Sisley because it's down the street from my place. I know I don't need to pay dealer prices, but I figure it's for my mom's new ride, so why not.
$40 later, I had to almost argue to get the genuine Honda 5W20 motor oil (they use Valvoline bulk). Whats the point in me going to a Honda dealer if they're gonna put in the same crap that I can get at Canadian Tire (and yes I know it's just packaged differently, but still, I want the Honda stuff).
This wasn't too big a deal. What pissed me off is they give it a little wash after, and it's supposed to be the filter/reverse osmosis water so it drys spot free (so they don't have to dry the car). By the time I got home (literrally 2 min up Yonge) the car had waterspots everywhere and was more dirty then when I brought it in. Called them and they said I have to wait till Monday to speak with management.
Is it wrong of me to be pissed off about spending $40 on a dealer oil change, having to almost argue to get the manufacturer oil, and then have my car come out dirtier than it was when it went in?
Had to vent. Would have gone to Parkway but didn't feel like driving all the way out to Scarbs.

I've never really heard anything good about Sisley, but it's really close, and I don't want to rack up mileage on my mom's car, so I went there.
They told me it was a wash and the rinse was like the Mr. Clean type filtration so it drys spot free. My ***.
With tax and disposal fees it comes out to like $40. Rather not name names. The service advisor was an alright guy (he's a Supra owner as well), I just didn't like being questioned as to why I want Honda oil, or tryed to be persueded to use their bulk crap.

I dont understand why they dont dry off the car with a chamois before they give it back to the customer... It takes an extra 3-4 minutes to dry off the car...
I still think Sisley has a great service dept.

Richmondhill honda treats you with better service. It may not be as a big or fancy looking dealership inside, but they treat you with respect there.
Sisley doesn't give a crap about you, just like Markham Honda. haha.
Here are my experiences on honda dealerships I've been to.
Good Dealerships
-Richmondhill honda
-Number 7 honda
Bad Dealerships
-Sisley Honda
-Markham Honda

hah who told you that its reverse osmosis water? hahahahah are you kidding me? its a rinse off with a pressure washer, maybe you had "cavalier z24 "written all over your face when you went there so they assumed your not a true honda enthusiast

you're a real funny guy Joker (Z24 was sold a long time ago)
It's not my car, it's my mom's, so let the dealership do it. And yeah they just totally BS'd about the wash.
I'm not a fan of Richmond Hill Honda really. When we were looking for the Civic, the salesman tryed to rush my mom into a sale in a very rude and sneaky way. I wouldn't suggest them to anyone, as far as sales at least.
This car is from Number 7 in dudebridge. Very good place to deal with.
