sirius satelite radio........

Just wondering if anyone has ever used this before.....?

I just got set up and I think it freakin rules!!!!!

184 channels of commercial free music - any style you like....

Problem is CRTC won't approve it in Canada, so you have to go stateside for it.....

sirius is the satelite that Howard Stern is going to next year.....that's not why I got it, but it is XM's competition

my alpine (which cost me a forutne) was XM ready, but I was told it would cost me another $300 + to get a tuner and antenna etc....but this set up was like $100/us and I'm hooked up

I am going to pick one up next week for my truck. I think in Canada they are a rip off (from what I have seen). You can pick up the newer style reciever for $99 from any truckstop down there, then add $50 for the mounting kit and you are good to go. I have seen them go for around $300 canadian up here. Even with the exchange rate, your still saving almost $100!
