cool..it'd be nice to get a look at it up close at one of the shows..
got any pics??
just for shows??
if i were them i'd use it for strip..
raise a little incentive to the street racers to take it to the track..
give 'em the opportunity to say they raced a cop car at (enter track name here)..
seems a waste of it's potential in curbing "the plight" if it'll just be for show..

No it isn't a rumor, the car is in development at a local body shop as we speak. The car was that orange color but is being painted white. It will have the metro police decals on it with some aftermarket goodies.

I'd be all over racing a police car on the track, I don't care if I lost!
I'd pay for it too!
Adding onto SiVeloz's idea, they could hold an event at the track like that and then raise money and donate it to charity.
I mean may as well make some good use of it and help the community as well.
