Say hello to winter...

Say hello to winter...
I've enjoyed my time with TCC since I joined in July this year... going to meets and spending a large amount of time on this forum.
Now, it appears that the inevitable is upon us... WINTER.
You can see how it's effecting the usual activity of the forum, and it's also forcing our club to meet in an underground parking facility.
Who can honestly admit that they like winter?
I personally hate it.
What's your favourite season?

For me, this winter's gonna feel like the longest ever.
I've never been a member of a car club before until this year.
I know there's the meets at Commerce Gate, but it's just not the same without the warmth outside.
I too, dispise the cold.
In the meantime, hockey and basketball are the only things that get me by during the winter.

It's all about the spring time! basketball is good to watch in the winter but it's much more fun to play in the summer.... well it'll be fun to play anytime once i finally get back healthy again... damn i miss it.... basketball is the best season but as for seasons of the year spring has to take it all!!!!!!!!

I'd love to try it again with a board set up, so that my right foot is in front... I think I'd enjoy snowboarding a little more that way.
Where do you guys go, and how much does a half decent board cost?

Snowboarding!
Hockey Season!
Holidays!
I have a good time during the winter, but if I had my choice...
SUMMER!!!
HANDS DOWN!
C'mon, summer is where its at!
Seeing the ladies looking damn fine, Camping, Canoeing, Cruzin', the Beach, summer nights!
Who likes wearing sweaters when you have arms as buff as me

ryanhook: Only reason I baught a new board was cause my old one was too small. I had the sickest board and would keep riding but it's too small for me. It's a Morrow Revert X (149). I'm like 6'0 and weigh 250lbs, size 13 boots. My new board is a Lamar Xtra Wide (159). I'm selling my old board if you want it. It's only 2 years old, and in mint shape. I wax, sharpen, full tune my board myself. I have all the tools. I'm looking to sell for $100. It was a $650 board brand new. Email me: digistar_media@hotmail.com (my PM doesnt work)
Buff 'n Stuff: I'll sell you mine for $100. It was $650 brand new. You'll need to buy bindings though. Mine are $300 Flow Bindings, so I'm keeping them for my new board. I can find you decent binding for about $150 I'm sure. The board I have is mint. I'll do a full tune up (sharpening, wax, base filing, surface texturing, etc.) for you if you buy it, and set your bindings for anyway you want them. Email me if interested: digistar_media@hotmail.com (my PM doesn't work)
I usually go to all the known places. Blue Mountain, St. Louis, Horseshoe, Craigleath, Dagmar/Lakeridge (if it's the only place I can go). I've been to Killington, Vermont and it was the sickest riding I've ever done. Nothing like fresh powder. I might go with my older bro to Mt. St. Anne this winter for a few days. Gotta see how the $ situation is.
