What's the best fun you've had in a rental car. I learned much of my car control in a Neon, doing J turns, U turns, drifting, trail braking, hand brake turns, and many others. The neon went back in need of serious tranny repair, some broken swaybar endlinks, seriously flatspotted tires, blown shocks, and severely damaged brakes. Anyone else had any fun??

i remember reading in car and driver about a race called "one lap of america" - all sorts of teams prepared fancy racing cars to drive around the entire perimeter of the continental U.S. - one sly team went out and rented (for a week) a lincoln continental from a rental car company that was advertising "no mileage limitations" - needless to say they had the most comfortable ride of all the cars and returned it a week later with 9,000 miles on it - they commented that the clerk didn't flinch about the number of miles in only a week
