question

my car is basically 95% sold.. just waitin for the person to get it. im lookin at a 98 hatch cx. im pretty sure it has no a/c and i want a/c anyone that has put one in how much does it usually cost and who would do it?

You can buy complete used systems cheap... like $500, plus you can install youself and have a local shop charge it. Brand new a/c kit is like $700 USD I think plus install and all that bunk...

some hatches come with a/c.... try shopping around and looking for one that has it already...

ask around, ppl pull it out for track cars and you can probably source one out for real cheap

I honestly want to sell mine.... I have only used it twice this summer so far, and I rarely use it.

God damn it my gf won't let me cause she can't stand the heat....

Shop around. It's not worth the agravation of installing one onto a car that doesn't have one yet. I had a choice when I was getting my new car.....one had ac, the other did not. It was a no brainer.....I picked the one with the ac.

As another bonus for PULOVR, it came with a 100 hp engine and an auto tranny... that should help avoid any more accidents - right one is go, left one is stop LOL j/k
