If I'm reading this right, they are cutting the price of the 60gb, and then discontinuing it when the stock runs out...and only keeping the more expensive 80gb one...

why don't they just hand it to MS and Nintendo...

the ufc game looks and it is apprantly going to come out for ps3.. hrmmm

btw, once the 60gb are sold out and only have 80gb the price of those will have to go down anyway.

Update: Turns out it was all a misunderstanding, and Sony is indeed going to keep the $499 60 gigger going in the US.
