police driving dangerously

Can anyone explain this.. I won't buy "they were warning you to slow down" for this one...

I was at a red light in the left lane to go straight. A cop pulled up to my right, a cop pulled up to my left (left turn only lane). There was another cop behind the guy on my right.

At the green light, they all floored their cars and the guy in the left turn laned cut me off and went straight.

I almost hit the fscking idiot by accident as most people don't make a lane change from the left turn only lane in the middle of an intersection.

Good luck with that. You'd get a ticket in no time.

yes, you can get a ticket for excessive noise.. a have a friend who got it for honking his horn to warn another friend in front of him of a radar trap..

bruce.. it's the perks of the job.. you get to use your servers at work to do as you please with some leeway as long as you dong get caught.. they get to abuse the law with some leeway as long as they dont get caught..

Actually, I don't download anything at work, nor do I flood my friend's PCs for fun (not at this office at least).. I did that sort of thing when I wasn't as mature... and I'm not the one in a job where I should be mature enough to carry a gun.

my only 'abuse of power' is MSN which I have told my boss I use. I used it to talk to other IT geeks if I ever need to ask some questions.

Some perks include speeding a little.. that sort of thing sure... but racing in cruisers..?

my friend's dad was a cop... him and his cop buddies would play poker, get drunk, and drive home. One guy would show up in a cruiser. That's not a small infracture of the law.

i believe some people might.. most wouldn't... but whatever.. i don't think you'll get anywhere.

i wouldn't do anythign like that for 2 reasons.

1. honking will not accomplish anything that will benefit yourself.
2. i respect the gun (not the badge)

i was kind of stupyfied... i didn't pull stunts like that when i was 17 in a thunderbird supercoupe.

maybe the cops were drunk?

Attempt to teach a cop = You will get schooled.

Without introducing bias into the situation, it's unfortunate that the acts of one will affect many. It's the same situation in the import scene, and the sportbike scene for that matter. One bad egg, no matter what else you put into the mix, will always taste like sh*t.

trackhack.. i'd say 6 off the eggs in the dozen are bad when you compare them to officers of the law.
