Poison Oak/Ivy

So I got it on both of my wrists. How do I get it off ? I've had it for 2 weeks now, not going away. I've been using some 0.5% hydro cortizone cream and its horrible.

I really gotta get rid of this stuff, if no1 can help here, then i'm going to the doctors, LOL

Ah, I feel for you bud! I had it on my entire right fore arm before and it was so annoying. I recommend using Tea Tree Oil. It comes in a small glass container at Shoppers Drug Mart. It stinks but works. It dries out the infected area. Oh, and if you want some temporary relief then run the infected area under the tap or shower using water that is so hot it is steaming, it feels oh so good on the infected area, seriously. Good luck!

get styrofoam and gasoline.. mix them together until you have a nice thick substance... scrape onto affected area and light up.

burn the reaction off your skin.

you will have bad burns, but it might be better than the itch.

you can also amputate your arms.

you might want to see a doctor for a 2nd opinion.

i'd suggest going to the doctor, just get it taken care of right away instead of home remedies that you never know if they work or not

I was actually paintballing up in Wasaga Beach with a bunch of buddies. I was wearing long sleeves and paints, but I guess when I was crawling, it got on my wrists cuz they were exposed, but the rest of my body wasn't.

So, HA !

Aren't you close to being banned everyday? He he he... I don't know what i would do if you weren't on here... It would upset me! So it is good that you didn't make up a story...

But yeah back on topic, watch a movie, I suggest Zoolander.

I was thinking of watching some TV. From 5:00-7:30. Simpsons-> Home Improvement-> Simpsons-> Friends-> Wheel of Fortune-> Computer till 8:00-> Whatever is on that day (all the good shows Rockstar, CSI, House, etc.)

Steve, imho, you're smart to get the opinion and advice of a professional in the medical field, a.k.a., a doctor.

prednisone (Sp?). Its a miracle working, like, 3 pills and bam! its gone. Or, get out your pocket knife, cut it up (so it like ****** or whatever) and get some bleach, and apply, burns a little, but should clear it right up.
