Pet Peeves

What's everyone's pet peeve when driving? I mean with other drivers...

One of mine is when people don't signal. I REALLY REALLY hate it when people don't do that, to me its kind of like disrespect saying you don't matter.

Some guy in a Corolla cut me off and then cut off two other people yesterday so I caught up to him and cut him off too. Stupid on my part I know, dangerous driving but he deserved it, the look on his face after I blew off giving him the heart attack.

At the red light he stopped a car length behind me. I don't race so I don't know why he'd wanna do that

The other is when someone doesn't say thanks when I let them in. Pisses me off, I do something for them and all I want is a little thank you. (kind of like what Jerry Seinfield said)

So what about you guys?

No friendly wave after let in my lane = taking things for granted. Even with my hatch door tinted dark, I still wave.

No signal when turning right while I am waiting in the intersection to turn left.

When make a turn, they turn onto the lane next to them. Last time I checked in the Driver's Ed., it tells you when making a turn onto the perpendicular lane, always follow your own lane. I always cut into my own lane and when people fail to do so on their part, they often do an emergency brake cause they were afraid of crashing into me. Well they didn't really have to if they turn within their own lane, neh?

Makes you wonder if driver's license just fall off the sky or they were handed out at Pac Mall as a special flyer...

That could be from 3 things.....

1. Improper headlight aiming (Crappy Tire parking lot bulb swap)

2. Left the highbeams on. (drive up beside them, and see if the blue highbeam indicator is on in thier dash....is yes, YELL at them to turn it off, and then smile)

3. They have a buch of people in the backseat, and that makes the lowbeams seem like high beams. (this can also be due to worn springs and shocks).

oh, I could also say.....

4. YOUR car is too low.

i would say its a combo of all 4, 4 being prolly one of the main causes hehe, but hey they still are prolly messed up and if everycar on the road was lowered then we wouldnt have a problem lolol

trying to stay on topic but i would never wanna drive a car with a stock suspension unless the spring rates were over 300 front and rear, its just to damn sloppy, my springs are 480 front 390 rear i believe, we called skunk 2 and asked the tech guy, but i love the ride its so stiff, mmmm

nothing chappes my *** worse than stupids that cross over in a turn then veer back into their own lane again..grrrr that happened to me the other day, i was turning right, at the sametime as buddy across turning left, if he turned correctly, we would of both met side by side, but noo he had to swerve into my lane, totatally cutting me off, forceing me to lock up my brakes to avoud him ripping my front end off...

Damn i hate these threads, they remind me of all the stupid people in this world, and boil my blood... And yah i dont read newspapers, because of that reason...:fustrated

I think its a major distraction. If you need to use a cell phone at all, use a headset!!

Also, I hate people who can't signal properly or people who leave their high beams on

people that pass you then slow down....WTF?????
if you are doing....let's say 80 and the guy passes you then starts doing 70....that pisses me off. And the no signal gets to me too....am I supposed to be psychic??? And then the damn ppl in the left lane that refuse to move over and they are doing the speed limit EXACTLY! And ofc, you can't get around them cause of traffic.
oooo, and when ppl decide that they can drive anywhere...like on the highways on the shoulder and then try to get back into a regular lane because traffic isn't moving fast enough for them.....and I should let them in???? HELL NO!
And........damn I could go on forever....so I will leave it at that.

Hehe you guys named everything I could think of lol, but the people who make wide left turns is the kicker for me, that annoys me to no end, the dixie/dundas intersection in Mississauga is notorious for accidents caused by people making late and wide left turns.
