Pepper Spray
I never realized how effective that **** was.
I was breaking up a fight between 3 of my drunk idiot friends at a wedding of all places on Saturday and an undercover cop van pulled up. Thank God I got out of the way when I saw him pullout the bottle.
My friends were blind for like 30 minutes and then for another hour or even more after that were still freaking out about how their eyes were burning.
They kept coming in and out of the hall with pitchers of water to flush their eyes out. The cops kept telling them to go home and wash their eyes with baby shampoo.
The looks in their faces were priceless. That's what they get for being idiots and ruining someone elses night.

that is pretty bad to start a fight at a wedding. they got what they deserved.
i believe rinsing with water is all you can do, i don't know what baby shampoo would do. most people instantly rub their eyes which makes it much worse.
you don't need pepper spray to put people down. simple canadian tire car match paint will be effective when spraying someone in the face to give you an opening to fight or flee, but you can walk with it anywhere, including the TTC or a bar. "I forgot it in my jacket" imagine what brake cleaner will do in a life or death situation.
i would rather take all the physical pain in the world for an evening over spending a night/weekend in jail and the headache that comes after.

both answers will get her charged by an officer of the law provided he's not a sucker for broads and the type of idiot who would pull over a car full of girls and let them go without giving them a ticket for 50km over the speed limit on the 401 even though they had also been hotboxing it and were all baked.

This is a fact. Whether or not it is a good idea is a different story.
I'm not sure what your point is, but I advocate never relying on anyone else for personal safety and always being able to defend yourself and people you don't hate.
walking around with a screwdriver and some screws is perfectly legal provided you have a non-violent reasonable situation to use it for, and it also makes an excellent stabbing device.

i have to agree with "bruce" on this the personal posession of pepper spray is illegal... you can carry bear spray but good luck trying to convince a cop your afraid of getting attacked by a bear in the city... dog spray i believe may be legal.. i know some mail delivery people carry it... a good thing for girls/women is to walk with a sharpened pencil with your name on it... if someone attacks you, stab them in the thigh and try to break the pencil off in their leg... when they go to the hospital they will be booked... as long as u call the cops after the attack.
