Its understandable if the person was dead and it was out of respect for cultural reasons... but killing the guy in cold blood JUST so you could eat him is wack.

OK, let me re-analyze...so you're saying it's ok to EAT someone for cultural reasons if they're dead? Thats just nasty.

I am saying we are in no place to judge.

It is ignorant to even assume that what we do, burying our dead, is the 'right' way.

Some cultures Burn their dead. Others bury them. And Some eat portions of their bodies.

Nasty by our standards? Yes.
Just as nasty and disrespectful as burying our dead is to them...

I agree, but again as a normal society that we live in now. that is not right.

I mean if the guy died and they took a bite of him , K i can see that as a religion/culture. but kill him and then eat him.

c'mon. i dont care what culture/religion. thats ****ing disgusting and ppl liked that should be locked up in a zoo with animals.

they're ****ed for killing the guy in the first place... but the father is pretty stupid to involve more people than necessary. You don't need a group of people to kill someone who trusts you.

If he had any intelligence, even if he was crazy, he'd had done it himself or with his son, and his son alone.

I CLEARLY stated that killing some1 for the purpose of eating him was wrong. CLEARLY.

And I also agree that eating someone, for whatever reason, in our culture is not normal... and can be considered disgusting, at least.

The article clearly states that one of the guys was forced to take a bite and retched. I don't hink cannibalism is part of anyone's culture anyway so you guys can probably go easy with the hyper-Canadian political correctness.

This is the biggest cesspool of moral relativism I've ever encountered. We talk about cannibalism, someone says it's gross and nasty and people jump up to defend a likely non-existant cannibal culture just because it's there.

Here's the short form. If you eat people there's something wrong with you. If your culture involves eating people there is something wrong with your culture. End of story.

I don't think the people in this story were doing anything according to a culture, I think they were just acting like freaks.

Such sultures have, and do, exist.

Just because you 'think' it is wrong doesnt necessarily make it so.

Go talk to anyone of those 'cannibals' and see the disgust in their faces when you tell them we actually bury our dead.

You can label it whatever you want... hyper-CND political Correctness... and I can label you ignorant and not accepting of others culture. Done and Done.

I am not saying we do the same. I am not saying murder is right. I am not saying I would eat any of my relatives or that some1 should be allowed to do that over here...

I AM SAYING THAT PEOPLE EAT THERE DEAD RELATIVES OUT OF RESPECT IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD. Thats it. I made a simple statement before pointing out that I disagreed with what happened in the article.
