if police followed their procedures and maybe got video cameras mounted on their hoods, they wouldn't look so stupid on youtube.. or they wouldn't have undercovers inciting violence at every peaceful protest... or maybe if they submitted to drug tests we wouldn't have them robbing teenagers.

if you even know ANYTHING.. you would know that POLICE are trained to only shoot to kill, not shoot to wound.
so they won't draw a their weapon UNLESS they feel their life or the life of a 3rd party citizen is in danger. They are also TRAINED to end a hand-to-hand combat fight within 15 seconds. If, the knives were drawn by the man who was shot, that is why they could not disarm him with just their hands and were forced to shoot him to kill him. So, with ALL that being said, you're stupid comments should stay inside your stupid head.

i have no problems with police, i also dont put myself in positions where i will have a conflict with them either. people who dont like cops are USUALLY the ones up to illegal activities...or black people (justified in most cases). i have been in the car with a buddy who was pulled over for no reason, questioned for 40 minutes then let go. he is black and it was total BS but the cop was also black, so take it for what its worth.

but why was a racist in the car with a black dude? was i held against my will? we may never know.

Police are not taught to shoot to wound. A wounded person can still harm themselves, the officers or other people. Pepper spray is useless against many people and not every officer has a Tazer.

I have a close friend in the OPP. He works in an area around the Six Nations Reservation where about 99% of the stolen trucks in the area end up. Recently he pulled over a stolen Escalade. When he got out of his cruiser, the driver reversed towards him and crashed into the cruiser. The Escalade took off and the cruiser was totaled.

Maybe he should have sprayed pepper at the truck instead of emptying 2 full mags at the truck as it sped off.

This has happened several diferent times and a few officers have ben injured by this tactic the drivers of these trucks are using (stopping, then trying to crash into the police). Now, the officers on my friends shift are all carrying C7/C8 rifles to better defend themselves against the 15 year old thieves that get their thrills stealing trucks, initiating chases then trying to run down the police.

My dad was a cop in Hamlton and when I was a kid he shot some guy who came after him with a machete. The guy lived, but didnt feel sorry for him. I was just glad my dad came home alive that night.

i have my reasons for hating the police and no one will change my mind there are good cops that do their job properly but a lot of them dont sooo... w.e

i think they coulda pepper sprayed him, he woulda went down in distress, he ouwldnt of been able to breathe and they coulda tackled him and disarmed the knife from him

back in 04 when the under cover shot and killed my buddy from school (anyone remeber jeff reodica?) yea they claimed he had a knife and shot him in the back 3 times. when the white guy with a baseball bat was right there y didnt they shoot him?
