parking lot behavior

parking lot behavior
A white middle age lady in a Civic Sedan, drove and parked her car very aggressively beside mine right after I parked my car at Canadian Tire.
After picking up a few things and getting back into my car, the same lady was backing out to leave.
During her backing out some doods started yelling "Hey! Hey!"
I turned to look and she was taking off aggressively out of the parking lot. She had backed into the rear of a new Toyota Sienna that was parked.
She collapsed the corner of the bumper, as she was driving off, she had scrape marks on her own bumper on the rear passenger side.
After watching all this I start to drive out of my spot, just then another white older lady in a Buick comes driving through the parking spot beside me that the first lady was just parked in just nearly hitting me.
Whats with people these days!

It's all around.....I find driving home and to work everyday like a mindfield sometimes. It just seems driving habits get worse as time goes by. Parking lots sometimes scare me as people drive through there like maniacs. Not to mention, I see people walking through the parking lots not even looking to see what is coming, thats either brave or very stupid. The best is when I come into work on Steeles, people actually stopping in the far right lane either to pick someone off or drop someone off. Surprised they don't get rear ended

Honestly, most female drives just don't look.
Yesterday, I was at Scaroborough Town Centre, and I was backing in my car. I went out one more time just to make sure I was right in between the yellow lines (I always do that) and this girl that was 2 car next to me was leaving, she was backing out my direction. When my car was half way out ready to go back in, her rear end was about 3 to 4 inch from my front bumper. If I hadn't started backing up, she would have hit me and it would have turned into another private property parking lot nightmare...

once i parked far away from the entrance at a home depot and someone decided to park beside me when there were hundreds of other spots to choose from. to make things worst the other car was riding the yellow line and was probably less than one foot away from my car. i thought to myself how on earth did this person get out of his or her car without dinging mine. so i looked at the side of my car and to no surprise i saw a small ding on the side of my passenger side front fender which lined up perfectly with the other car's driver side door. i was really angry at this point because crap like this can be avoided and why should my car suffer because of someone else's stupidity. so i waited for the person to come out and to my surprise it was this sweet looking innocent old lady who probably didn't know better. my heart quickly changed and instead of screaming my lungs out like i probably would have done i told her to be more careful next time she parks and open her door.
i really don't understand what goes on the minds of some people when they park their cars. do they feel their car is lonely and insist on parking really close to another car when they go shopping? what's this world coming to? sigh....

I hear ya Sam, I feel obligated to park as far away as possible in parking lots just avoid ignorant people.
but sometimes it cant be helped.. I just park beside the nicer cars in the parking lots, BMW's, Lexus', etc. or I just check out the car beside me for door dings and such.
But I notice a lot of that kinda behaviour lately being taken out on the highway.
Just yesterday coming home from work, I 18-wheeler decided to block off the on-ramp as I was merging into traffic! He must have been getting pissed off over all the smaller cars that are passing him and merging on. WTF is going on with people.
But yes, there should be some sort of "Parking Lot Etiquette"

Yeah, I also park as far away from cars as I can, my g/f gets pissed at me, lol.
Anyways, I agree with the fact that it isn't always white women. I thought Asians had the bad driving reputation
I can't wait to see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.

I hate parking lots!! I swear that there has been a steady degradation in parking skills over the past couple years since not a day goes by when I go into a parking lot and I don't see some stupid car straddling the yellow line.
The other day I was about to waiting to pull out of my parking space when some stupid girl in a Lexus RX330 comes tearing down the aisle and parks in the spot across from me all crooked and ****.
