Online Card Pricing/Becketts
Anyone know of any free online way of checking the prices of ur hockey cards, baseball cards etc. . . it's raining where i'm at right now a bit, and i don't feel like goin out right now. . . if it wasn't raining and the weather was nicer, i'd go out and buy one right now. . . but looks like i won't be today/tonight.
Since the leafs have moved on, i decided to go check out my hockey cards, which i haven't checked since i was in grade 6 or so, holy crap...i found some crazy cards in here...and i wanna check out the prices....
i had a binder dedicated to juniors, and i got some guys who made it to the NHL in here who are pretty good.
So if anyone knows any sites or anything with card pricings....pleez do tell. . .

beckett.com lets u check one card out, I think if u delete your cookies and temp files itll let u check another one after. It'll prolly just cookies you to prevent u from using it again.
I usually go to chapters and use their becketts to check my cards lol. Marian Hossa R/C 160high 70low That's my best card haha

I was a hardcore hockey card collector when I was young too. I must have spent like $10 000 on cards in total, what a waste of money. I know becketts show the value of the card...but who the hell buy's them? It would be awesome if beckett was a buy/sell business too. Like the value of a card posted in the beckett is what they will pay you for the card, and you can also buy cards at the posted price.
I guess they wouldn't make a profit from that...and that is the main goal of a business.

Yah DJTre, it'z really hard to sell some cards, though it may be worth a lot of money, u gotta find the right person. Honestly Check out some Card Shows, there'z a lot that happen in Brampton in school gyms and stuff....and there are ppl there that are willing to buy, but i gotta get in touch with my friend again and find out where these shows are and stuff again.

Ebay works pretty well too.
Last year I started buying starter boxes of UpperDeck to get short printed rookies. I made back all the money I spent on the boxes (5x20 a pop) on the sale of like 4-5 rookie cards I pulled from their packs. Plus I pulled some cool jersey cards
I know for a fact the marian hossa's rookie pulls like 120-130US on ebay. If you got those uber rare cards graded by becketts services they'll sell for more. This Hossa RC sells for double if its graded at PSA9.0 or higher.
