OMG Stupid sprinklers and cops...hehe

so i'm driving down hurontario at about 2:00 am tonight and those side of the road sprinklers are on watering the grass...so i just keep driving....and i had the top down in the corvette so i was like "meh, i dun wanna get sprayed" so i start to change lanes when all of a sudden (being rear wheel drive and in a patch of wet road) the back spins all the way around like 4 times...not joking....i didn't even know what the hell was going on until it was over and i was facing the wrong way on hurontario after spinning like 3 times...so i'm like HOLY ****...thank god there were no cars beside or behind me....then i look over,....and just sitting there in a sideroad is a cop......so i think maybe the car is empty and i do a quick burnout and am facing the right way again since its easier to just floor it in a circle and spin around than do a 3 point turn...not 2 seconds later the cop has his lights on behind me and there is another cop in front of me like 1 foor away from my bumper directing me to the side of the road....lol....so i pull over and they come up to me....they didn't even ask me any questions..they just told me to get outa the car and ask to take a sobriety test....they just talked to me for a bit, asked me to walk a straight line...then what they say next surprises the **** outa me...the one cop...lady....says..."alright, its evident that you've had a few drinks tonight so we need to take a breathalizer".....and i start getting scared cuz i didn't drink anything but whatever...i take it...get a 0......and then they start searching the car saying i must be high cuz that was a "clearly avoidable manouver on a main road"...i tried explaining to them that the tires are kinda bald and **** happens when its wet..but they keep looking and looking and looking....after they find nothing...they tell me that I now have to call my parents and arrange a ride home cuz they are towing the car....so i'm like WTF!...why?........then she gives some stupid excuse saying that it is unsafe for the road...i ask why...she says...don't worry about it...............

30 mins later when a tow truck finally hasn't arrived....and they tried to call my dad for some ODD reason.(i gave them my other cell phone number....lol...i didn't want to wake him up).....they just let me go...no questions...it seemed like they were waiting in their car for the truck....then they just left and made it seem like a f*cking joke to waste my time for like an hour......so i just left...went home...and now i am pissed cuz i think the dirty cop farted in my car cuz it stinks like anus now for some reason....like wtf.....and thats my rant for the night.....

you're under 18 I'm guessing? For them to want to call your parents?

They get paid to hang out and give people tickets. What do you expect them to do... fight crime?

firstly, brucefee...i am turning 19....so i dunno why they wanted to call my parents....

and secondly, cynikal..its much easier to do a tailwhip because cars were coming up on me really quickly so i would have had a group of honking retards on my case if i didn't do something quickly.......also the corvette seems to have oversized tires on it right now (don't ask me why...dads fault) so when i crank the wheel all the way it kinda hops and turns slowly while the wheels rub...and that would have made it take longer....and also, tail whips are just cool, i had just spun out in a circle like 3 times so why not just whip it around quickly and make it seem like the car did it accidently a 4th time...

--I was only going like 60k exactly cuz i know that there are always cops on hurontario waiting........

--and dan...don't worry, i'll come over to best buy and do some burnouts in the back......lets just trade cars for a little bit and drive somewhere...therefor u can get ur v8 fix, and i can feel the MAD rush of vtec yo!....seriously...i miss driving hondas.....lol

i dont think its a good idea, im asking a sarcastic question

the only way your car is going to spin out like that is if you slammed the gas pedal down while you jerked the wheel to miss getting sprinkled by a bit of water

^^ i'll let u take the vette out and just drive normally on a wet road and ur opinion will change...lol....seriously...the tires are HUGE!....like wide as hell, they need to be changed soon and i turned into the next lane just slightly, i did give it a bit of gas but not enough to do any spinage in most cases..it just got lose..maybe on some oil or something on the road and that was it........lol

Similar thing happened to me in an F150 Lightning. I had just gotten it washed and i went to turn and I guess I gave it a bit too much gass and I ended up doing a 180.

well if you post up a story complaining about the cops pulling you over and hasseling you, its because you did a tail whip right after you spun out, if you drove off normally they probably wouldn't have stopped you, but you decided to make an aggressive move therefore they probably thought you were driving aggessively to spin out in the first place.. so obviously they're gonna pull you over and give you a hard time on anything they can.. and they probably tried to contact your dad because you are out in his car and they probably figured it would be nice to let him know what you are doing with it.. think about it, a young guy in his dads corvette.. not trying to be an ***, or a 'kill buzz' as you say but just looking at it from the cops point of view.. they protect the general public and with you driving aggressively with other cars on the road, of course they're gonna pull you over and see whats up.. and if they can't get you off the road, they're at least gonna make you **** your pants and sit there for a while, think about what you just did and calm down enough to drive normally.. thats all they were probably trying to do.. at least you got let off without too much trouble.. i'd take it as a lesson learned..

Plus...you said you saw the cruiser before the tailwhip. who cares if you think it's empty or not. Still take the time for the three point turn. I know the tail whip is easier and quicker, but makes you look like a retard to the cops. I sed to do the same **** in my Dakota. But if htere was ever a cruiser around....ALWAYS take the time. At least make it look obvious to them that you weren't spinning on purpose.
Non-the less....it'd be nice to see.......just not with the cops sittin there.

Either way, next time, don't do tailwhip on a public road.
