There's a couple of us in the club with them. I'm definitely hooked. My roommate, my neighbour, his girlfriend, his brother, and a few others in my close circle of friends have also all jumped on the bandwagon -- I swear this is going to be the toy for Christmas 2002.

We'll have to start having races at the meets!

One's Better Living (Grand Opening At Market Village) is selling them for 39.99 from Retail of 59.99, the Skyline for 49.99 for 2 Additional Bodies. The track retailing from **.99 is being sold for 39.99! I was going to buy one but figuring why would I need one.

the knock of sell for 19.99. Called turbo racers and mirco racers. I had one but after numerous jumps off my kitchen table it think i fucked up the motor. You can still steer alittle but it goes nowhere. Lasted me about 1 week.

OcTaNeTeDdY and I have had our's for about a year now..... where the hell have you guy's been?

Buy the way, If anybody want's a set of drift wheels, an extra set of medium ruber tires for the regular wheels, and three suspension setting bars (all in the same box).....and one clear/unpainted "Toyoto bB Open Deck" truck body(you can give it a custom paint job.), and a 1.0 motor (only good for going slow in a made up "city" platset.) I'm selling all of it for $20.
As for the question...."are they fast?"

click on the link below........look to the right on that web page, and click on the "Bit Options:The Movie".

Bit Racer

none of you will touch mine...every upgrade you can get....

gears, tires, engines (4 of em)
What? you don't have the 3.8 engine yet? I do.....got it awile ago. Drains the internal cell too quickly......I only use it for "Drag Races". Going to upgrade the cell to a NiMH one....should give me a much LONGER run time.

The stuff I have for sale looks like this.

Remember, it's a clear UNPAINTED body only.

Wink where have you guys been?

hey, same with PUL_OVR, where have you guys been?

I've had my first one for about a year now, the initial D set,
I'm on to the turbo'd ones now, I recently wasted enough money on the FairladyZ and the Automodellista set..plus 1.6, 2.6, and aftermarket 3.4, 3.8 motors and led headlight kits.

Also, i bought the DIGI-Q track, i highly recommend it..
$40 can get you this: http://www.jdmtoys.com/tuneshop/trackbasics.htm

to learn more about headlight kits, lowering, spring suspensions, better batteries, mufflers and other mods to do..check these forums/sites out...

yep, the boosted ones, but not the booster packs.
tomy currently released 2 new sets- the fairlady Z and the Auto Modellista set that have the similar square controllers but have the boost button on the top instead of using the gamepad- like controller for the booster packs..kinda like a sleeper look.

Let's see.......average price for a starter kit.....$30-$35......plus the price of a return trip ticket to Hong Kong.....$1500......=$1535.00

I may be bad at math, but I think you will get a better deal if you just bought one here.

And the last time I checked, Tomy had ONLY upto 3.8 for the motor.

Who makes the 4.8 one?.......I'll wait for an answer. :working:

I think only up to the 3.0 motors are Tomy ones. The 3.8's that most people sell are non-Tomy, so I'm sure any faster ones will probably non-Tomy too.
