I was surprised at what the Denon could do. The DJ in the video clip isn't THAT bad, but I see see the possiblities. That's why I would like to try the Technics first hand if and when they finally come here. I had an old set of 12's........I really regret selling them.

dude I wasn't post whoring ... I did have cd players like this and all you could do is change the speed.

and based on the digital nature of CD you are not actually stratching but instead uses Synthesizing to modify the sound so that it sounds like stratching ...nothing beats the real thing

I still have an old Technics Cd player with Pitch control as well.....but get this, it a 5 disc one.

Come with me on friday if you have the time......I'm going to go play with a set.

As for "nothing beats the real thing".....I'd have to diasagree with that.


I was plesently surprised by how well the Denon emulated a record. If the Technics lives up to it predesesors, the compitition better watch out.

Can't wait to see the reviews.

I'm surprised 94EG6HB hasn't posted back.......oh well, he's probably busy.

buddy of mine at work does DJing on the side with his Cusin and they have 2 of those New Technics 1200s
they got a good deal they said 900 each worth like 1300 or 1500 they said

you know that pic of the Golf with the huge *** Sub in the back of it
thats his Girlfriend's Golf and the sub is what they use for the bass when they DJ (they make them their selves) he was selling the sub for $400 i want it
its like 24"

CiViC [-_-] BoY ™, your friend doen't have those. I can guaranty it 100%. That CD turntable is NOT even available yet, so he is either lying to you, or you got the models #'s wrong. I think you got the #'s wrong. They will be anoucig them oversea's at a european show this sunday.....after that, they will release it to the general public.
