I'm not too big on no name guys, but he is Asian tho. For Kariya, His father is of Japanese descent, his mother of Scottish descent, no?

I would, since we didn't get sh*t at the deadline, and he's taking a long time to give us an answer, so we can't even trade his rights for anything tangible.

If he doesn't wanna be hated, he should resign with the leafs for whatever salary cap space the team that he really wants to go to has, then be traded to that team for picks/prospects.

I can understand his hesitation due to the turmoil at the leafs front office level, but at the same time it's unfair as hell to toronto not to get anything from a guy who 'wants to end his career as a leaf' but really doesnt want to
