I cant hate on JayZ b/c he has taken hip hop where it is today (moneywise) and hasn't sold out lyrically(except a few tracks) but production wise he's gone soft. What happen to the days with the Primo tracks?? Nas has made a wicked comeback lyrically after trying to go the commercial route but some of his new beats still suck. He definitly needs to get back to the Illmatic production now that he was returned to his dope lyrical content. As for king of NY? NONE. There are way to many dope emcees that get no credit but can destroy an of them whether it be freestyle or written composition. I think that the real king of NY right now is J-Live. Watch out for him to blow up soon. (already has 2 full underground album and tons of singles)
