New Ho King

anybody else hit this place up after clubbing downtown?

its pretty decent cuisine for a good price...I had the best chicken ***** in my life there lastnight

its on spadina on the west side of the street and its always packed after 2am...ask for the latenight menu for best pricing

that place is the greatest. Busy even during reg hours. i usually get take out/eat in at least once every 2weeks or so.

does anyone remember the original Ho King? was on dundas, just a block east of spadina. that place was awesome. use to go there when i was a kid with the family. they had the best beef chow mein. i am guessing it's some of the same owners/cooks at the New place?

That place has good food but the owners are ******. I was there with a few friends one late night and a table of ten guys decided to jump two of my buddies, throwing teapots and plates. After we broke it up the guys who work there tell us we should leave now and wouldn't call the cops or anything. So I won't go in there anymore.

Roh San kicks ***. We used to go there at like 4am even after clubs and it was packed. Some interesting customers in there too.

yeah i remember that!! it used to be right on the corner.

not sure if its same owner/staff tho.

yeah sometimes i get a little attitude from them but i come to expect that from chinese places and i'm chinese.

there's this restaurant on sheppard 1block east of kennedy. Good food but they have rude service. They rush you to finnish. Like when you're ALMOST done they'll sometimes bring you the check w/o you asking for it. I mean **** let me finish eating first.

new ho king rocks the spicy green beans and calamari

rol san wasn't as good but the scene was nicer post-club outings...

swatow right down the street had the most illmatic lobster sauce on rice!
