first things first.
its better to tell you things if you tell us what this business you are trying to start. each business is different hence different rules.
you cant copywrite things unless you go and pay for copywrite rights. you also need to figure out if its a limited company, incorporated etc....
when you walk into to the business registration office there are about 20 computers in there that the teller tells you to go to and search if the name that you want to use is used already or not. only if its not used you can use it unless the business you are doing is completely different and the other company that you have the same name as writes a written letter stating they are fine with it if you dont you can get potentially sued if your business is making them get a bad name or loose business do to the same name
